Our Board of Directors
KCC is governed by a Board of Directors made up of tribal representatives who set policy, oversee operations, and guide its strategic direction on behalf of the Kumeyaay Nation. Board members are appointed by their respective tribal chairmen and may serve alongside an alternate who can represent in their absence, ensuring consistent representation at every meeting.
The KCC Board currently includes representatives from 11 of the 12 stateside Kumeyaay bands, reflecting the commitment to serving the entire Kumeyaay Nation. This broad representation helps ensure that KCC's programs, curriculum, and resources remain accessible and relevant to all bands, not just a subset of the community.
